In this role, you will lead customer complaint investigations, coordinate root cause analysis activities, drive corrective and preventive actions, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective problem resolution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards, support new product launches, and strengthen customer relationships.\nWhat You'll Do:\nAct as the main customer interface for quality-related issues during production and warranty periods. \nLead customer complaint investigations and coordinate problem-solving activities using structured methodologies such as 8D and Root Cause Analysis. \nDefine, implement, and monitor corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring quality issues. \nDecide on product shipment containment actions and support delivery release decisions when quality concerns arise. \nCoordinate customer-specific product approval activities and ensure compliance with customer requirements during new product introductions and engineering changes. \nParticipate in certification and product change processes, ensuring all customer quality requirements are met. \nCoordinate cross-functional teams to analyze quality incidents and implement effective solutions. \nEvaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions and monitor long-term improvements. \nManage customer-returned product analysis and communicate findings to internal stakeholders and customers. \nCoordinate customer visits, audits, and quality reviews at the manufacturing site. \nMaintain quality reporting systems and customer-related quality databases. \nCollaborate with quality teams across Garrett sites to share best practices and ensure consistent customer quality standards.\nWhat We Need:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field. \nMinimum 3 years of experience in a technical environment. \nMinimum 2 years of experience in Quality Engineering and customer-facing activities within a manufacturing environment. \nExperience with automotive quality tools and methodologies, including 8D, PFMEA, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Fishbone/Ishikawa, and 5 Why Analysis. \nGood understanding of IATF 16949 requirements and quality management systems. \nKnowledge of statistical process control methodologies. \nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings according to ANSI and ISO standards. \nStrong communication and relationship management skills. \nAdvanced English language skills, both written and spoken. \nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel,
