Key Job Areas of Responsibilities\nData Science\n* Data Cleaning and Preparation: Ensuring data quality by cleaning and transforming it into a usable format.\n* Analysis and Interpretation: Using statistical, mathematical, and computational techniques to analyze data.\n* Model Building, Maintaining, & Experimentation: Creating predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems.\n* Maintain and training Demand Planning team on Planning tools related to data science, machine learning & algorithm usage & fine tuning (ie: o9)\n* Conceive, plan and prioritize data projects\n* Reporting: Presenting findings through reports, dashboards, and visualizations.\nDemand Management & Accuracy\n* Weekly check MAPE and BIAS at PN level;\n* One Team: Discuss and align assumptions with Demand Planning Teams & CM at required & meaningful level.\n* Continuous Improvements: Follow defined standards and guidelines. Propose and implement improvements.\n* Check and address with improvement top offenders\nInternal alignment and collaboration* GEM deployment and its substance for business process excellence\n* Drive annual SDP process and coordinate and lead key project through six sigma principles\n* Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Desk Specialist, Sales Team, Marketing Team, Industry Insight team to support the development of the demand forecast and manage demand proactively\n* Ensure adherence to standard Data Management. Demand planning, PIPO, NPI process to meet assigned functional KPIs viz. MAPE, BIAS, Inventory, E&O, Premium Freight\n* Lead, support & report statistical analysis on demand forecast and related KPIs\n3. Education / Qualifications\nPost Graduate & / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics and Business Administration, Engineering or related areas required\n4. Experience\n* Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in demand planning or customer service, sales and supply chain\n* Minimum 5 + years excperience in Data science with good knowledge on the data science lifecycle\n* Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred (OEM, Tier-I)\n5.
