In this role, you will help CIOs and tech executives from around the world securely architect technology, data, and AI for modernization and innovation. Leveraging deep analytical and strong communications skills, you will produce essential research and directly counsel clients through written content, executive briefings, and Gartner conferences to solve mission-critical enterprise challenges.\nWhat you will do:\nBe an industry thought leader\nBuild credibility as an expert representing Gartner Business and Technology Insights on topics such as application modernization, integration of AI into operations, and platform implementation\n\nDrive the global conversation platforms and application modernization through Gartner and the media\n\nConduct insightful research\nTrack global market trends related to core industries, relevant vendors, emerging technologies, and best practices\n\nActively participate in ideation, cohort discussions to establish strong positions on technical topics that impact CIOs\n\nLead qualitative and quantitative studies to establish thought-provoking insights for our C-level clients\n\nIdentify research process improvements or develop new processes that help the team and the Business and Technology Insights group excel in delivering client value\n\nCreate thought provoking content for clients\nDeliver high-quality, actionable advice to an executive client audience, CIOs, AI Leaders, and Technology Executives, through a variety of media.\n\nWrite evidence-based content that is easily consumed, defensible and actionable.\n\nDevelop compelling presentations that help clients understand the constantly evolving technology and operation landscape\n\nEngage clients in how to achieve their mission critical priorities\nAdvise CIOs and IT Executives in staying ahead in a constantly evolving technology landscape and changing geopolitical uncertainties\n\nDeliver thought-provoking presentations for webinars, executive briefings, and industry conferences, and Gartner events.\n\nWhat you will need:\n10+ years’ experience working as an information technology executive, AI experience in P&C insurance or government is a plus\n\nBachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required\n\nIntellectual curiosity to continuously learn and explore new ideas\n\nA deep technical background founded in IT department engineering experience (e.g. platform engineer for AI, systems engineer, information security engineer, cloud engineer, solutions architect etc.)\n\nExperience helping organizations be AI ready- specifically, how to modernize data architecture and cloud compute power to deliver responsible and sustainable AI solutions\n\nDemonstrate executive presence; can immediately establish credibility with executives and additional stakeholders\n\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables\n\nExcellent communicator who can explain complex concepts concisely and simply.\n\nSuperb written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions.\n\nA proficiency in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges.\n\nAn ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others, in a multicultural global team\n\nWho are we?\nAt Gartner, Inc. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
