You’ll help enhance Gartner’s service offerings by leveraging public cloud platforms and open-source technologies to deliver robust self-service capabilities.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams-including application developers, operations engineers, and architects-to understand project requirements and translate them into automated solutions.\n\nSupport and enhance architecture, systems, processes, standards, and tools through collaboration and innovation.\nDesign, implement, and maintain reusable compute, storage, network, and security components using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\n\nBuild reusable workflows and pipelines for application deployments.\nDevelop automation scripts to create scalable, resilient systems and infrastructure with a focus on immutability and containerization.\n\nImplement and test automated backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures across multiple platforms.\n\nUtilize CAPI (Cluster API) for automating Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management.\n\nChampion security best practices in the Kubernetes environment by implementing robust RBAC controls, enforcing network policies, conducting regular vulnerability scans, and proactively monitoring for compliance and emerging threats.\n\nCreate and maintain clear documentation, runbooks, operational standards, and architecture diagrams.\n\nAssist development teams in automating application configurations and maintaining the service catalog within the internal developer portal.\n\nEnsure all solutions are cost-effective and instrumented for comprehensive monitoring.\n\nTroubleshoot, resolve, and report issues in development, test, and production environments.\n\nDesign and deploy scalable, highly available distributed systems.\n\nContinuously identify and adopt best practices to improve processes.\n\nWhat You’ll Need:\n2-4 years of experience in AWS cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps roles.\n\nSolid experience with containerized application builds and deployment orchestration using GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux CD.\n\nProficiency in infrastructure automation and management through GitOps (Terraform or Open Tofu).\n\nHands-on experience with CAPI (Cluster API) for Kubernetes cluster management is highly desirable.\n\nExperience with Helm chart templating for Kubernetes application packaging and deployment.\n\nFamiliarity with cloud-native delivery tools (e.g., Argo CD/Rollouts, Kustomize, OCI) and related technologies.\n\nStrong scripting skills (Python, Shell, Groovy, etc.).\n\nAWS and Kubernetes certifications are a plus.\n\nWho You Are:\nEffective at managing time and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExcellent communicator with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nHighly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.\n\nComfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within global teams.\n\nCurious, passionate about technology, and committed to continuous learning.\n\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
