The Retention Analytics and Applied IVR team within IPA is at the forefront of harnessing the latest analytics and AI advancements to define paths to higher client retention. The team leads analytics across several fronts spanning content, interactions, conferences and all other Gartner client facing assets. The team also leads critical pillars like associate performance analytics, budget and financial analysis (in partnership with the finance organization).\nWe are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who is a highly analytical problem solver, possessing strong business acumen and willingness to act as a bridge between business execution and advanced analytics. This role requires deep understanding of analytical techniques, foundational understanding of data science concepts and the ability to present to senior business leaders.\nWhat you will do:\nOwn problem structuring, analysis and implementation of strategic initiatives and key, cross-organizational deliverables.\n\nPartner with data scientist and data engineering teams to develop scalable and advanced analytics-based solutions that directly help with improved client retention.\n\nAnalyze large amounts of data to derive business insights\n\nPlay a key role in an effort to harness the full potential of Gartner’s proprietary data.\n\nInteract with business leaders to understand their pain areas and build solutions catering to their needs.\n\nWhat you will need:\nExperience: 3-5 years of progressive business experience involving data/business analytics.\n\nFoundational understanding of Data Science concepts. Ability to explain the business implementation of data science.\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s Degree required with a concentration in statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or operations research preferred\n\nStrong technical understanding of data and skills to analyze as well as visualize it\n\nBasic of Programming languages e.g. python, R, SQL\n\nExceptional problem solving: Proven track record of solving complex problems, Critical thinking, Analytical reasoning, Innovation, and using data to influence senior level stakeholders. Demonstrated thought leadership with high business impact throughout career\n\nStatistical analysis including the ability to identify patterns and trends in the data, avoid bias and apply the right models/methodologies/calculations\n\nAttention to detail e.g., data hygiene, quality checks, documentation etc\n\nHigh proficiency in Microsoft excel and power point\n\nStrong collaboration and influencing skills in a highly matrixed environment.
