You will own feature delivery end-to-end, contribute to technical design, and help raise the overall quality and capability of your team. Gartner Peer Community is a peer-driven platform where thousands of verified enterprise leaders connect to share knowledge, ask questions, and provide peer feedback that helps inform technology and business decisions.\nWhat you will do:\nDesign and build high-quality features end-to-end across web, and backend platforms with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.\nTake ownership of stories and epics from refinement through delivery, driving clarity on scope and acceptance criteria.\nParticipate actively in technical design discussions and contribute meaningful input on architecture and implementation approaches.\nWrite well-tested, well-documented code and hold a high bar in code review.\nContribute to observability, alerting, and on-call practices to keep production systems healthy.\nSupport engineers on the team, sharing knowledge and helping others grow.\nCollaborate with Product and Design to refine requirements and surface technical constraints early.\nCollaborate with principal and lead software engineers and engineering managers to define technical tasks for user stories leading to efficient technical refinement and delivery.\nIdentify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve engineering tooling and processes.\nWork closely with DevOps to design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools.\nWhat you'll need:\nMust have:\n4+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems, including rich experience in end-to-end system design and delivery.\nStrong proficiency in Go (Golang) for backend development and React/Next.js for UI development; must have hands-on full stack engineering experience.\nSignificant working experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.\nSolid understanding of software design principles, testing practices, and delivery fundamentals.\nExperience contributing to production systems with observability, incident response, and on-call practices.\nClear written and verbal communication with teammates, product managers, and stakeholders.\nNice to have:\nPrior experience in distributed systems, high-traffic services, or data-intensive platforms.\nFamiliarity with agile/scrum delivery models.\nWho you are:\nBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required\nExcellent communication skills.\nAble to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.\nOwns success - Takes responsibility for the successful delivery of the solutions.\nStrong desire to improve upon their skills in tools and technologies\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
