Commodity Supply Analyst provide leadership and support to our Supply & Risk Management, Accounting, Finance & Treasury, Operations, and Sales divisions by preparing, analyzing, and reporting complex data for both internal and external customers. You can work independently, but also love being part of a team that collaborates to achieve common goals.\nAdditional Responsibilities\nDevelop professional relationships with both internal and external customers\nAnalyzes and reconciles commodity, transportation, and financial transactions and positions, in addition to volumetric data and pricing information for invoices and remittances\nCompiles and evaluates market data and company information to determine trends\nDevelops and maintains Supply & Risk Management, Accounting, Finance & Treasury and executive reports\nNegotiates with internal and external parties for dispute resolution\nWork closely with Accounting, Finance & Treasury to provide financial data to assist in closing the month\nPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisor\nExperience\nBachelor’s Degree - Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Admin or Engineering\nAbility to develop knowledge of pipelines, Local Distribution Companies (LDCs), utilities, and gas transactions\nPreferred Experience\n0-3 years' experience working in back/middle office functions, preferred\nIntermediate level experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)\nBasic understanding of running SQL queries and analyzing results\nLocation Requirements\nAtlanta, GA or Gainesville, FL\nPhysical Requirements\nSitting: Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation while performing computer-based tasks, conducting meetings, and collaborating with colleagues.\nStanding and Walking: Ability to stand and walk within the office environment, such as when attending meetings, interacting with colleagues or external stakeholders, or visiting different departments.\nLifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry material, files, or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, such as when organizing documents or setting up for meetings.\nPay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.\nGas South Base Pay Range\n$76,000—$79,000 USD\nOur Purpose and Culture\nAt Gas South, we approach each day knowing we have an opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives.
