Under general supervision and working with the development team, understand the technology stack, review and understand the code base and QA environment, implement minor application changes and/or perform testing.\nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nParticipate in daily scrums and work on the assigned tasks.\nParticipate in code review sessions with the development team.\nImplement assigned tasks namely minor application changes / writing unit tests / Manual QA / test automation as assigned by the team lead / scrum master.\nActively engage and seek out input from other team members.\nConduct end to end testing for both functionality and usability.\nAssist the cross functional teams by providing the appropriate level of support for production operations.\nEDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:\nPursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer information systems. \nInternship or prior relevant work experience is preferred\nUnderstanding of Azure DevOps and/or other development environments.\nUnderstanding of C# and/or VB.NET, HTML, CSS, Angular and other front-end frameworks will be a huge plus.\nUnderstanding or exposure to the following technologies are a plus:\nMicrosoft Azure\nAzure SQL Server\nGit\nTesting Tools such as Selenium, JMeter\nExperience with working in Agile / Fast Paced Development Environment.\nDeadline oriented with proven task-completion record; capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously\nPossesses a track record of excellent performance, proactivity and exceptional work practices.\nCompensation: $18.00 to $22.00/hourly based on grade level\nPay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.\nGas South Base Pay Range\n$18—$22 USD\nOur Purpose and Culture\nAt Gas South, we approach each day knowing we have an opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives.
