This position is based in Odessa, TX.\nJob Summary\nStart your oil and gas career in capillary services with BlueFin Production Services. We are seeking a mechanically inclined Service Technician for the Midland/Odessa area. No prior experience is required. Under close supervision, you will support crews working with capillary tubing and downhole chemical injection systems, service equipment, and participate in training. This field role supports well production through safe job execution on land and offshore assignments.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nAssist with capillary tubing installation and retrieval and associated spooling activities, following crew direction, work plans, and procedures.\nService, maintain, repair, and test equipment and tools in the shop and before and after jobs.\nLoad and unload equipment; help install and test manifolds and support assigned pressure-testing tasks.\nUse hand and power tools, learn capillary service equipment, and help identify and troubleshoot job issues.\nCommunicate with office and field teammates and write or participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).\nParticipate in training on other product lines and services and follow BlueFin health, safety, environmental (HSE), and quality requirements.\nExperience and Education\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nNo prior experience required; mechanical aptitude is required.\nAbility to work with basic hand and power tools and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.\nAbility to understand and communicate in English for work instructions, safety information, and collaboration with team members.\nReliable transportation to and from the BlueFin office.\nPhysical Requirements\nWork on land assignments, with travel throughout the United States.\nExtensive travel and overnight stays for extended periods may be required.\nBe available for 24-hour call, except during scheduled PTO.\nWork in harsh environmental conditions and sit or stand for extended periods.\nMeet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check, drug screen, Fit for Duty evaluation, and/or physical.\nBlueFin Services is an equal opportunity employer.
