Our clients range from Operators to General Contractors in the upstream, midstream and downstream market sectors of all energy industries.\nJob Summary\nThe Equipment Technician I is an entry-level role ideal for those interested in a hands-on approach to working with pumping equipment. The primary responsibility of this position includes maintaining equipment as directed by the District Manager or another designated supervisor. This position does not directly supervise others.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nAssist the Equipment Technicians and Mechanics with general duties, including low pressure testing, job mobilization, etc.\nKeep all areas of the shop clean and well organized\nMaintain facility as needed (minor repairs, paint, etc.)\nAssist daily with forklift inspections, overhead crane inspections, organizations of tools and parts\nAssist in preventative maintenance work on equipment, including washing, prep and painting of equipment\nAssist with shipping and receiving of equipment (forklift operations)\nAssist weekly with organizing the yard\nAdhere to all policies, procedures, and programs as defined by BlueFin Field Services\nParticipate in equipment team call rotation. Available for weekend and after-hours work\nOther duties as assigned\nExperience and Education\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred\nIndustry experience a plus\nGeneral mechanical experience preferred\nMust be able to become Forklift certified\nPhysical Requirements\nMay travel for local jobs if needed\nAbility to sit or stand for long periods of time\nAbility to work in harsh conditions\nAbility to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, Fit for Duty, and / or physical BlueFin Services is an equal opportunity employer.
