We are dedicated to fostering a positive organizational culture that encourages growth, development, and pride among our team members.\nSummary\nThe duties of the Final Assembler include but not limited to the following:\nChecking flight bill- the worker reviews the flight bills to determine what items are required for each flight. The counter height is 36 inches high, which may require the worker to bend slightly. This activity is done intermittently throughout the day and the bending is not required for any prolonged periods of time.\nAssembling flights-trolleys that have been rebuilt are brought over to the assembly area by the bar/boutique builders. The assembler stages the trolleys according to flight number. *Headsets, hampers and satchels are added, as requested, to the trolleys to complete the flight. Fully assembled flights are pushed into the cold room to await pickup. The worker marks the flight complete on a board in the cold room.\nOwn transportation is an asset as public transport is limited in the area.\nThis position is represented by a labour Union and is covered by one or more collective bargaining agreement/s.\nResponsibilities:\nWork 8 hours rotative shifts that will include weekdays, weekends and holidays\nWork overtime when required\nArrive to work on-time\nPass a criminal background check\nComplete paperwork\nCommunicate with supervisors and co-workers\nFollow directions\nWork as a member of a team\nKnowledge and Skills:\nExcellent communicator (oral and written), who demonstrates sound judgment, tact, and works well in high-pressure situations.\nMust have excellent attention to detail\nMust be able to multi-task\nMust be able to interact with customers in a professional manner\nMust have skill and ability to understand and read spec.\nAble to handle multi-tasks and adapt to change.\nSelf-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.\nAbility to work in an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, participation, creativity, honesty and mutual respect.\nKnowledge of safe lifting techniques, as regular and repetitive heavy lifting (approx. 50lbs) is required.\nAbility to work shift work\nEnvironmental Requirements and Working Conditions:\nWill be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise\nSubject to cold temperatures (ranging from +10 degrees Celsius to at or below 0-degrees Celsius)\nMust be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds.\nThis is a physically demanding position - Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.\nMust be able to work at heights up to 25 feet or more depending upon aircraft.\nRate of Pay: CA$23.43 per hour\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual(s) assigned to this position.
