This role focuses on delivering high-quality customizations, preferably aligned with SAP best practices, while maintaining the flexibility to propose alternative approaches when they better serve business objectives. The analyst ensures that all solutions are compliant with local legal and regulatory requirements and supports the implementation of robust, efficient, and scalable processes across the organization.\nMain Duties & Responsibilities\nResponsible to analyze the business requirements, decide about the best practice and customize SAP/FICO system accordingly.\nWrite Functional Specification documents that will be used by developers for the necessary enhancements.\nAnalyze escalated problems that may emerge at normal system operation and were not able to be resolved by L2 support and consider solutions.\nTrain L2 team and end users on system functionality\nParticipate in roll-out project meetings and use his/her knowledge and experience to suggest solutions.\nCore Competencies and Requirements\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in finance, IT engineering or science related field, or equivalent qualification\nWork Experience:\nAt least 5 years of experience in SAP FICO projects implementation (on hand).\nBig experience in heterogenous environments and data integration with SAP\nAdvanced communication skills with business to collect requirements.\nAbility to communicate and cooperate with multi-national teams.\nAbility to give guidelines and monitor the job of L2 support team.\nTechnical/ Language Skills:\nSAP ECC6 FICO: (ClassicGL with multiple currencies, AP/AR, Asset Accounting, Automatic Payments, PMW, DME Files, Electronic Bank Statements, Search Strings, LSMW)\nFamiliarity with FICO DB dictionary\nAbility to understand ABAP code (basic development is not mandatory but nice to have)\nUnderstanding of PCA, CCA and PA structural objects and their operation in CO\nFluent English speaker\nExtensive experience in SAP/FICO customization as well as broad analytical, strong organizational and interpersonal skills is required. The key challenge is managing during a period of rapid change.\nInfluencing senior management; transitioning from functions into a process/operational business environment.\nWorking to tight deadlines. You will actively participate in the implementation of the defined processes in collaboration with IT and the various business partners, internal Control & Senior Finance Teams\nCore Competencies Required:\nTechnical Expertise: Demonstrates deep knowledge of SAP/FICO modules and system configuration. Produces well-structured functional documentation to support development and user understanding.\n\nKnowledge Transfer and Support: Shares expertise by training support teams and guiding end users. Enhances system adoption and operational effectiveness through targeted knowledge transfer.\n\nCollaboration and Influence: Works proactively across teams, contributes constructively to project discussions, and builds alignment through credibility and practical insight.\n\nCompliance and Business Alignment: Ensures system solutions meet legal, regulatory, and policy requirements while supporting broader organizational goals.\n\nIndividual Leadership: Leads through ownership, initiative, and accountability.
