Specific duties include but are not limited to
Job activities for the Industrial Process Painter could include:
- Preparing a surface for painting and applying paints using conventional spray equipment
- Repairing surface defects before application of paint
- Mixing of paint
- Assessing initial application and reapplying paint when necessary
- Paint application must meet drawing specifications and may require masking areas that are not to be painted
- Responsible for maintaining inventory of paint and supplies
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- HS diploma / GED
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- 2 years experience spraying wet paint with conventional or HVLP equipment
- Experience setting up and tearing down tooling and fixturing used for production runs.
- Regularly lift 10-15 lbs, Occasional lifting of 20-30 lbs
