We offer medical, dental and vision plan insurance effective the first of the month following hire date, flexible spending accounts, wellness program, employee assistance program, a 403B retirement plan, & several more offers.\nCompensation\n$18.60 per hour\nHours\nMonday - Friday\n8a-3p\nProfessional Development Opportunities\nGateway Longview has a strong investment in developing the future leaders of the organization through trainings, advancement opportunities, and a formal leadership pipeline.\nPosition Specific Duties/Responsibilities:\nSupport the implementation of student behavioral plans in collaboration with the educational team.\nImplement behavioral interventions in accordance with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training and individualized treatment plans.\nMaintain timely and professional communication with teachers and related service providers regarding student behavior, progress, and needs.\nDeliver instructional support by implementing teacher-prepared lesson plans and providing individualized or small-group academic assistance as directed.\nActively supervise assigned student(s) to ensure safety, engagement, and compliance with IEPs and behavior support plans.\nAssist in maintaining a supportive classroom environment by preparing displays, organizing activities, and engaging with families in coordination with the teacher.\nAccurately complete required documentation, including behavioral incidents, interventions, attendance, school notes, and outcome data, to support student monitoring and program accountability.\nRecord attendance for each class and provide daily activity summaries to the teacher.\nParticipate in required training and professional development opportunities to support continued growth and program effectiveness.\nRequirements\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing classroom needs\nAbility to utilize physical restraints in accordance with safety protocols youth after successful completion of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training\nCompetency in implementing behavior strategies and interventions following TCI training\nCollaborative team member with the ability to work independently\nExperience working with students with disabilities and/or diverse learning needs\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism\nQualifications\nU.S. Bachelor’s Degree\nPertinent experience and/or training\nAn EEO/AA Agency\nWe want to emphasize that the preferred qualifications are not required and that we are committed to helping our future colleagues develop these preferred skills.
