We build ML-based software products for industrial customers, including semiconductor manufacturers.\nIn this role, you will own software systems throughout their lifecycle, from design and implementation through release and ongoing operation in production. You will turn open-ended requirements into designs and delivery plans, resolve dependencies across teams, and keep the systems you own reliable in production. You will work with Software Engineers, AI Scientists, Product, and customer engagement teams in Seoul, Vancouver, and Palo Alto.\nWe are looking for a hands-on engineer who works independently, reasons from fundamentals, and helps the engineers around them improve.\nResponsibilities\nOwn the design, implementation, release, and production operation of reliable, scalable software systems\nTurn requirements from Product, customer engagement, and AI science partners into designs and delivery plans, and drive the resulting work to release\nLead delivery of changes that require work from other teams; agree on interfaces and dependencies, and resolve technical disagreements\nReview designs and code, and write technical documentation that other engineers can implement from\nRespond to production incidents in customer environments, diagnose root causes, and complete the follow-up work\nImprove testing, CI/CD, and release checks to catch defects before deployment\nMentor engineers through design, debugging, and code review\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field\n8+ years of professional software development, building scalable, reliable, high-performance systems\nExperience owning a production system end-to-end through design, release, and operation\nStrong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and core CS principles (operating systems, concurrency, databases, networking)\nProficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C/C++, Go, or Rust\nEnglish writing and speaking skills, with the ability to produce technical documentation, clearly explain technical concepts, and lead technical discussions in English.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTrack record of setting long-term technical direction that other teams adopted\nExperience leading architecture and delivery across teams, including interface contracts and system migrations\nExperience identifying recurring reliability or delivery problems and leading fixes across teams\nExperience mentoring senior engineers to lead designs independently\nExperience with ML systems in production (for example, MLflow, Ray, Kubeflow)\nExperience with event-streaming and data-processing systems (for example, Kafka, Flink, Spark)\nExperience building services on large databases (for example, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)\nExperience with Kubernetes and container platforms, including on-premises or air-gapped deployment\nExperience in semiconductor manufacturing or industrial data\nMaster's degree or PhD in
