The infrastructure you build will power real robotic systems performing work on the shopfloor of factories.\nWe're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who builds and owns the critical cloud infrastructure behind our AI-powered robotics systems. Someone who understands cloud architecture, networking, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and software engineering. Someone who can make architectural decisions, write production code, debug complex systems. Someone who takes ownership.\nWithin your first year, you will:\nHelp our platform scale as customer adoption grows.\nImprove the reliability and scalability of our robotics cloud & edge infrastructure.\nRaise engineering standards around observability, security, and operations.\nEliminate operational bottlenecks through automation and better architecture.\nInfluence major technical decisions across our tech stack.\nThis full-time position is based in Braunschweig. While we offer hybrid flexibility, we value in-person collaboration and expect team members to be on-site 2-3 days per week.\nTasks\nDesign, build, and evolve our cloud infrastructure on AWS.\nOwn our Kubernetes platform running on AWS EKS.\nDesign networking architectures that are secure, scalable, and operationally simple using Tailscale, Kubernetes, Istio.\nBuild and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Pulumi and TypeScript.\nDevelop and improve GitOps workflows using GitHub and ArgoCD.\nBuild IaC, tooling, and automation in TypeScript and Python.\nImprove observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and modern monitoring practices.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, applications, and robotics systems running on Linux.\nMake architecture decisions that influence the future direction of our platform.\nWork directly with software engineers, robotics engineers, and leadership to scale the business.\nRequirements\nSound practical experience with the aforementioned tech stack\nExtensive hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments.\nStrong cloud architecture experience on AWS.\nDeep understanding of networking fundamentals.\nPractical experience with cloud networking and security.\nGood software engineering skills.\nExperience writing production code in TypeScript and Python.\nExperience making architectural decisions and understanding their long-term consequences.\nA strong bias toward automation and simplification.\nMost importantly, you are someone who follows problems all the way to their root cause. You do not stop when a workaround has been found.
