GAYLOR ELECTRIC is committed to the safety, well-being & future of its employees. \nSCOPE OF WORK: \nResponsible for overseeing multiple projects and differing levels of personnel. \nAccountable for the leadership of assigned personnel. \nResponsible for safe installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of ICT type projects, and associated materials and equipment within the commercial and industrial ICT industry. \nWill have assigned project labor reporting to him/her. (normally 50+ employees) \nInternally: \nReports to the Project Manager and interacts with other field personnel as well as support staff (e.g. Human Resources, Estimating, Accounting, Finance, and other corporate services staff). \nExternally: \nMay interact with owners, owner representatives, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors, and others who are associated with project related activities. \nRESPONSIBILITIES: \nSupervise the field construction and service of assigned projects, primarily related to installation, retrofit and maintenance of structured cabling as well as the related systems (access control, security, audio video, etc.), in accordance with the plans and specifications to ensure that each phase of the work is completed on schedule, within the budget, and with the quality workmanship expected by the company and the customer. \nEnforce, facilitate and follow Company and contract safety requirements. \nSupervises, inspects, reviews, records and reports on all site construction related activity ensuring that the work is performed on schedule in such a way as to ensure scheduled completion of projects within established budget, time frames, quality and performance standards, and customer/client satisfaction. Expected to supervise multiple projects at the same time. \nUnderstand and develop means and methods for the construction/installation or service requirements of the particular project (in conjunction with Project Manager). \nAssist with quality control functions per contract requirements (submittal reviews, daily reports, preparatory meetings and other production tracking features) to ensure project documentation is in compliance with contract requirements. \nParticipate in regular project/site meetings with subcontractors, architects, engineers, client representatives and other groups. \nResponsible for reviewing project documents, plans and specifications, directing construction activities, resolving construction difficulties, coordinating field installations, project close-outs, and developing and/or maintaining customer/client relationships. \nCoordinate inspections, verifications, test results, and other contractual requirements per the scope of work. \nIs the primary management team member on the site on a day-to-day basis to identify and correct issues or deficiencies and/or escalate issues and deficiencies up the management chain to Project Manager and/or Operations Manager. \nAll responsibilities to be accomplished within standard operating procedures, project cost, time constraints and quality standards. \nPerforms annual performance evaluations of assigned personnel as directed. \n\nQUALIFICATIONS: \nEDUCATION: \nHigh school/college graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience. \n\nEXPERIENCE: \nFour or more years of ICT Field Supervision/management experience \nMust have completed approved Apprenticeship Program or have a minimum of six years on-the-job electrical experience \n\nSPECIALIZED SKILLS: \nKnowledge of commercial or industrial ICT with BICSI Certifications. \nHigh level of interpersonal relationship skills, proficiency in communication skills, organization skills, and must be computer literate (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel) \nProject coordination, project development, personnel development and/or supervision of construction or service projects in the commercial or industrial building construction industry. \nAbility to obtain and maintain security clearances at level required for assigned projects (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and valid driver’s license.) \n30-hr OSHA Construction Safety
