This individual will be responsible for performing electrical construction layout using Trimble robotic total stations and GNSS equipment on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with accurate field layout, point staking, as-built collection, and coordination with project management and field operations to ensure successful project execution.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n* Perform construction layout for electrical installations using robotic total stations and GNSS equipment\n* Layout underground conduit, equipment pads, embeds, stub-ups, electrical rooms, transformers, skids, and other electrical infrastructure\n* Collect and document as-built information throughout project duration\n* Import and export points, models, and drawings using Trimble software platforms\n* Verify layout accuracy using project control and survey benchmarks\n* Read and interpret construction drawings, CAD backgrounds, and electrical plans\n* Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, BIM/VDC teams, and general contractors\n* Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration and care of all instruments\n* Assist with project setup, localization, and control verification using GNSS systems\n* Communicate layout discrepancies or field conflicts to management in a timely manner\n* Follow all company safety standards and jobsite requirements\n\nQualifications\n\n* Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction layout, electrical layout, or land surveying\n* Experience operating robotic total stations and GNSS equipment preferred\n* Familiarity with Survey equipment and software is strongly preferred\n* Ability to read and understand construction drawings and site plans\n* Basic understanding of coordinate systems, control points, and field measurements\n* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field\n* Ability to work outdoors in varying jobsite conditions\n* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred\n\nPreferred Experience\n\n* Experience with Trimble Field Link, Trimble Access, or Trimble Connect\n* Electrical construction experience is a plus\n* Experience working on commercial, industrial, or data center projects\n* Knowledge of as-built documentation and point management workflows\n\nEquipment Used\n\n* Robotic Total Stations\n* GNSS Rovers and Base Stations\n* Trimble T100 Tablets\n* Trimble Field Link and related software platforms\n\nWork Environment\n\nThis position requires frequent travel to active construction sites and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
