{"id":2840451,"url":"https://alion.io/job/gazala-payroll-supervisor","title":"Payroll Supervisor","company":{"id":3882368,"name":"Gazala","domain":"gazala.net","url":"https://alion.io/company/gazala","size_band":null,"is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":null,"truth_index":null},"role":"Finance","role_family":"Finance","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"explicit","locations":["New Cairo, Egypt"],"countries":["EG"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Microsoft Excel","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-19T08:39:00Z","employer_posted_date":null,"last_verified_at":"2026-10-19T08:39:00Z","board_verified":false,"closed_at":null,"days_open":2,"trust":{"level":"not_scored","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":2},"description":"Company: SESCO Steel Group\nLocation: New Cairo, Cairo, Egypt\nExperience: 7–10 Years\nJob Type: Full-Time\nCareer Level: Experienced - Supervisor\nJob Category: Accounting & Finance / Human Resources\nJob Description\nSESCO Steel Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll operations, ensure accurate and timely salary processing, maintain compliance with Egyptian labor and tax regulations, and supervise payroll administration across the organization.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong expertise in payroll management, Egyptian social insurance, income tax calculations, labor law compliance, and payroll reporting, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise and manage the monthly payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments for all employees.\n\nReview and validate payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, bonuses, incentives, deductions, leave, and employee adjustments.\n\nEnsure accurate calculation of income tax, social insurance contributions, and other statutory deductions in accordance with applicable Egyptian regulations.\n\nEnsure compliance with Egyptian Labor Law, social insurance requirements, income tax regulations, and company policies.\n\nReconcile payroll records with HR records, attendance systems, and finance reports.\n\nPrepare monthly payroll reports, salary summaries, cost analysis, and payroll-related financial reports.\n\nCoordinate with the Finance Department regarding salary transfers, payroll expenses, and monthly reconciliations.\n\nManage employee payroll inquiries and resolve salary discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.\n\nMaintain accurate and confidential payroll records, employee files, and supporting documentation.\n\nMonitor employee attendance, overtime, leave balances, and other payroll-related variables in coordination with HR.\n\nPrepare and review payroll-related tax and social insurance reports and ensure timely submissions and payments.\n\nSupport internal and external audits by providing payroll documentation and reconciliations.\n\nDevelop and improve payroll procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes.\n\nSupervise and guide payroll team members to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.\n\nSupport annual payroll activities, including salary reviews, bonuses, employee settlements, and end-of-service calculations, as applicable.\n\nRequirements\nJob Requirements\n\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\n\n7–10 years of relevant experience in payroll administration, with proven experience supervising payroll operations.\n\nStrong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law, social insurance regulations, and payroll income tax requirements.\n\nHands-on experience managing monthly payroll for a medium-sized or large workforce.\n\nAdvanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.\n\nExperience with ERP systems and computerized payroll software;
