The Taino Beach Bridge, falls within LUSCO’s purview and it shares the responsibility for the bridge maintenance with Tamarind Development Company Limited.\nThe Taino Beach Bridge provides the only means of ingress and egress to the southern portion of the Fortune Bay and Bell Channel Bay Subdivisions on the island of Grand Bahama and therefore it is critical that the condition of this infrastructure is addressed.\nJob Summary:\nThis job requires an experienced Project Manager who will undertake responsibility for the management of the Taino Beach Repair Project, overseeing all phases of this project including planning, scheduling, and execution. The Project Manager will also serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors and internal teams, establishing, fostering, and facilitating good communication with all stakeholders. The responsibilities will include liaising with Engineer of Record and contracted Engineers on the Project and with the contractor.\nProject Duration: Estimated at 9 to 12 months.\nDuties/ Responsibilities\nAssess project and prepare overall scope of work\nCo-ordinate with project teams i.e. engineering, bridge vendor, contractor\nLead project meetings\nAttend field and site visits\nConsult with Media consultant and Project Coordinator regarding the preparation of PSA, Press releases and general media strategy.\nPrepare weekly reports for the Executive Team and biweekly reports for the relevant Company Boards and carry out additional reporting as required.\nLiaise with the legal team on the review and preparation of project specific contracts\nLiaise with Financial Controller and Financial Director on Project Budget, Payment Applications and rebilling to Tamarind Development.\nEnsure Project contractual timelines are adhered to and advise on significant deviations.\nAttend press conferences and prepare presentations on the project as required.\nEnsure that adequate records (electronic and visual) are organized and kept regarding the progress of the project.\nRequired Skills/Abilities\nClear, confident communication abilities.
