You will work closely with our Corporate Controller to manage the month-end close and ensure accuracy across all accounting workflows. You will play a key role in building out scalable systems and the in-house accounting team.\nThis role is ideal for someone with strong SaaS experience, solid technical accounting knowledge, and a desire to help create structure in a fast-paced startup. You will report directly to the Corporate Controller and be a trusted partner in supporting financial clarity and operational excellence.\nWhat You'll Do\nManage the relationship with our current outsourced accounting team and play a pivotal role in moving to an in-house team.\n\nOversee and review monthly close deliverables including reconciliations, journal entries, revenue schedules, consolidations, and variance analyses.\n\nMaintain a high-quality general ledger and ensure compliance with US GAAP.\n\nOversee accounts receivable end-to-end, from invoicing and cash application through collections, aging analysis, and receivables forecasting for leadership.\n\nOwn audit processes and prepare required documentation.\n\nOversee accounts payable, expense management, and vendor onboarding workflows.\n\nOwn SaaS revenue accounting, including subscription billing, usage elements when applicable, and ASC 606 considerations.\n\nMaintain accuracy in all accounting systems and help lead the transition of accounting functions in-house as the company grows.\n\nPartner with Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure accurate data flow for billing, revenue, and customer activity.\n\nBuild scalable accounting processes and internal controls that support growth.\n\nWhat We're Looking for:\nCPA certification or significant progress toward CPA.\n\n5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.\n\nSaaS industry experience is required. AI or other high-growth tech experience is a plus.\n\nBig Four public accounting background is a strong plus.\n\nStrong understanding of US GAAP, month-end processes, and revenue recognition.\n\nExperience managing accounts receivable and collections.\n\nExperience working directly with external accounting firms or auditors.\n\nExperience with multi-entity accounting, including intercompany and FX, is a plus.\n\nAdvanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Ramp, Stripe, Carta, HubSpot, and both Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.\n\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and limited structure.\n\nStrong communication skills, high ownership, and a proactive approach to solving problems.\n\nDesire to grow your career and be a key member helping shape the internal accounting organization.\n\nThis role is based in one of our hub cities.
