Standards & Practices covering versioning, readability, functionality, extensibility, data quality, test results, deployment, post-deployment, and hypercare.\nLead system knowledge management, as well as team resourcing, performance management, and capacity management (e.g., hiring, onboarding/bootcamps, career development, KPI monitoring).\nEnsure data domain quality and reliability, including uptime for automation jobs and data pipelines.\nEnforce data security practices across pipelines.\nManage data and report migration activities as required.\nDeliverables / Outcomes\nQuality, reliable, and timely data for end users\nData warehousing platform uptime\nProject and BAU delivery for the team\nDocumented Data Warehousing Engineering Standards & Practices\nSystem knowledge management\nDocumentation for team resourcing, performance management, and capacity management\nQualifications\n5+ years of demonstrated strength in SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing\n5+ years maintaining data warehouses and performing large-scale data transformation using EMR, Hadoop, Hive, or comparable big data technologies\nExperience mentoring and managing data engineers\nExperience with hardware provisioning, capacity forecasting, and budget management\nProven ability to communicate outcomes in writing and to engage effectively with both business and technical audiences\nTrack record of leading, managing, and hiring strong engineering talent\nProficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Scala, or Java)\nWhat We
