We are committed to elevating travel & culinary experiences for all our customer's journeys, becoming the top choice in the region.\nKEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nEnsuring proper internal controls are developed, implemented and monitored.\nSafeguarding and managing the Company’s finances, working capital and fixed assets.\nLiaising with external auditors at year-end and preparing annual financial statements.\nCoordinating the preparation of annual budgets and participating in strategic planning.\nLeading and managing the accounting team.\nEnsure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.\nProviding financial analysis and modelling and delivering to operations to drive business decisions.\nOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.\nManage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.\nConduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.\nUpdate business acumen by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, etc.\nEnsuring payroll payments are timely and all relevant payroll standards and reporting guidelines are met.\nPreparing financial reports as outlined by the company; ensuring accuracy, conformance with policy, and timeliness.\nTo assist the HR Lead to ensure that there are appropriate HR systems in place and implemented as per Company requirements such as staff training, succession planning, disciplinary process followed and recruitment of staff.\nCommunicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings.\nReview and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.\nTrack vendor pricing, rebates and service levels.\nMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.\nEnsures the IT and Procurement function KPIs are meet and the department functions within the GCG guidelines.\nACADEMIC, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:\nProfessionalAccountingDesignation(ACCA/CPA/CGA)orEquivalentDegree\nA minimumof three (3) years’experience at managementleveland possessstrongleadershipskills.\nThoroughknowledgeofaccountancyand InternationalFinancial ReportingStandards(IFRS)\nProvenabilityto developand maintainan environmentoftrust,diversity,and inclusion withinyour team\nStrongbudgetdevelopmentand oversightskills\nKnowledgeofgeneralbusinesssoftwareand aptitudeto learnnewapplications; proficiencyinMicrosoftOffice(Word,Excel,Outlook)\nAbleto communicatein English orallyand in writing\nExcellentmathematicaland analyticalskills\nEmbark on a journey with us, where every day brings new opportunities for growth and success.
