We’re proud to offer a vibrant employee experience that fosters growth, collaboration, and opportunities across our diverse operations, creating an environment where you can thrive.\nJoin our team and let’s grow together!\nABOUT THE ROLE:\nWe are seeking to recruit a talented, highly numerate, self-motivated individual who shares our values to join the Group’s management team as Manager - Financial Reporting.\nThe successful candidate will have the responsibility of providing financial support and guidance to the Catering Division and support to the Group Financial Controller of GEL.\nThis position reports to the Divisional Finance Lead of GCG and the Group Financial Controller of GEL.\nThe position will be based at the GEL Head Office in Barbados.\nWHAT WILL YOU DO?\nAs Manager - Financial Reporting, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:\nProviding technical support to the Cluster Financial Controllers across GCG\n\nWorking with the Group auditors and Cluster Financial Controllers across GCG to ensure that all audit issues are resolved in a timely manner\n\nReviewing all financial reports (and other reports) before submission to Head Office\n\nReviewing all Budget reports before submission to Head Office\n\nProviding guidance on the application of IFRS across GCG\n\nLiaising between Group Finance and Divisional Finance team\n\nTracking and reporting any inaccuracies related to accounting and reports to Divisional Finance Lead (GCG) and the Group Financial Controller (GEL)\n\nAssisting the Group Financial Controller (GEL) in reviewing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports\n\nAssisting in the annual group audit and preparation of the annual report\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:\nA professional accounting designation (ACCA, CGA/CPA)\n\n3-5 years’ post qualification experience in a senior role\n\nKnowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and their application\n\nKEY COMPETENCIES:\nHigh numerical and analytical skills\n\nStrong leadership with excellent interpersonal and communication skills\n\nA team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives\n\nDeadline-driven with excellent time management and problem-solving skills\n\nComputer literate with a strong background in information technology particularly with regard to knowledge of accounting software packages\n\nBENEFITS:\nWe’re proud to offer a vibrant employee experience that fosters growth, collaboration, and regional exposure.\nAn attractive remuneration and benefits package is being offered.
