As a Data Exploiter, a typical day will include the following duties:\nDescription\nGCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced expert Cyber Technical Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the below:\nThe resource will analyze cyber threat intelligence gathered from existing sources to drive further intelligence gathering an collection efforts within the target network. \nThe resource will have a basic understanding of computer networks and be able to develop and maintain expertise in a specific domain, driving the production of intelligence insights, informing operational decisions, and identifying opportunities from strategic initiatives. \nThe resource will be expected to drive intelligence gathering efforts across multiple sources to support cybersecurity operations, including identifying opportunities to improve access to critical networks. This may involve partnering with other teams to develop and execute specialized intelligence campaigns. \nThe resource will be expected to effectively communicate intelligence findings and insights to relevant parties, and to produce written reports summarizing the results of intelligence gathering activities. \n\nRequirements:\nDemonstrated experience an ability to communication complex information and concepts to an audience of varying levels of technical expertise. \nDemonstrated experience with a variety of technical tools and systems used for data analysis, research, and intelligence gathering, with the ability to learn and adapt to new platforms and technologies. \nDemonstrated experience analyzing data to identify relevant information, with the ability to recognize and extract key insights that can inform operational decisions. \nDemonstrated experience with media triage/exploitation. \nDemonstrated experience an ability to sort, catalog, and analyze multiple forms of data. \nDemonstrated experience with network traffic analysis (using Wireshark or similar tools) is required to support intelligence development and related activities. \nDemonstrated experience developing complex queries to distill large amounts of data (structured and unstructured) to drive targeting and technical operations forward. \nDemonstrated experience exploiting unstructured data. \nDemonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas: computer network forensics, network administrations, computer security, or large scale data analysis. \nDemonstrated experience with documenting findings and value of data in cable traffic or other knowledge management system. \nDemonstrated experience utilizing and manipulating a variety of disparate data collections in support of operations requirements. \nDemonstrated experience using strong investigative skills to perform independent analysis on a variety of data sets to find elements of interest, whether it be computing mobile devices, network activity, or individuals.\nDemonstrated experience extracting insights from data to support intelligence gathering, identify new opportunities, and drive informed decision-making through reporting and other channels. \nDemonstrated experience in reading Spanish language text and translating to English language summaries. \nDesired:\nDemonstrated experience and familiarity with network analysis tools.\nDemonstrated experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.\nDemonstrating experience with cloud computing or cloud infrastructure.\nDemonstrated experience with Internet applications and protocols. \nEducation Requirement\nBA/BS (or equivalent experience)\nExperience Requirement\n8-10 years of experience
