We maximize opportunities for success by building and maintaining trusted and reliable partnerships with our customers and industry.\nRequired :\nProficient in at least one scripting or programming language and willingness to learn new languages as required\nExperience as a power-user or administrator of DevSecOps Tools (CI/CD Pipeline, Infrastructure as Code, Containers, etc.)\nDemonstrated ability to learn quickly, complete tasks independently and creatively, and adapt to new technologies and tools\nDesired :\nPrior experience building a DevSecOps system, either through coursework or personal projects\nPrior experience with systems or network administration projects, either through coursework or personal projects\nPrior experience with software development projects, either through coursework or personal projects\nExperience with technologies/domains such as :Multiple Artificial Intelligence Domains (i.e., Machine Learning, Generative AI, etc)\nCloud Architecture, Development, and/or Administration\nComputer, Automotive, and/or Network Forensics\nData Science & Data Visualization\nRF Engineering & Signals processing\nAdvanced scripting (i.e., Bash, PowerShell, Python)\nVulnerability Research and/or Exploit Development\n\nAt GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a DevSecOps Engineer Summer Intern, a typical day will include the following duties:\nPerforms technical tasks in support of engineering, information systems, or related technical operations.\nCollaborate with the development team to support the design, development, and testing of software applications, modules, and components.\nAssist in scripting, debugging, and troubleshooting system issues to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance.\nParticipate in system architecture discussions and contribute ideas for enhancing product functionality and usability.\nConduct thorough research on emerging DevSecOps methodologies, technologies, system configurations, and development tools to stay updated with industry trends.\nWork closely with senior administrators and mentors to learn and apply system administration methodologies and techniques.\nParticipate in special projects as required.\nEducation\nMust be a currently enrolled full-time college student, at least returning for the Fall 2027 semester\nMajors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or other technical degree programs strongly preferred\n3.0 GPA+ preferred\nClearance\nMust be interested in and eligible to obtain a Top-Secret US Government Clearance\nCandidates with an existing clearance preferred\n*A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires
