As an Infrastructure DevOps Lead, a typical day will include the following duties:\nThe Infrastructure DevOps Lead will manage the design and implementation of complex cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions. In addition to being a hands-on technical leader with experience in cloud migrations, infrastructure as code, and container orchestration, the lead will use their firsthand technical expertise in AWS technologies and security hardening to develop robust, scalable infrastructure platforms and solutions. They must be at ease working in an Agile environment using Kanban methodologies, as well as embody a passion for continuous improvement and innovation in infrastructure automation and deployment processes.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead an Agile team using Kanban methodologies to deliver infrastructure and DevOps solutions\nServe as a hands-on technical leader in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment strategies\nGuide technical direction using infrastructure as code principles and best practices\nNavigate security processes and accreditation requirements with the customer to ensure compliance\nHarden AWS environments and architectures to meet stringent security and operational requirements\nManage and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.\nWork with external stakeholders to map requirements and tasks for infrastructure deployments\nCollaborate with development teams to find integrated solutions that align infrastructure with application needs\nLead cloud migration efforts from on-premises hardware to AWS infrastructure\nManage container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes (EKS preferred)\nDeploy and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery of applications and infrastructure\nScale COTS and GOTS applications to meet large enterprise application requirements\nDrive continuous improvement and innovation in infrastructure automation and deployment processes\nConduct architecture reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members\nStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure offerings\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience\nMinimum of eight (8) years current experience leading the development and implementation of complex infrastructure and DevOps solutions applying Agile methodologies\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nDemonstrated experience leading Agile teams using Kanban methodologies to deliver infrastructure solutions\nProven ability to navigate security processes and accreditation requirements with customers in complex environments\nExpertise in guiding technical direction using infrastructure as code technologies and frameworks\nDemonstrated experience hardening AWS environments and architectures to meet customer security and compliance requirements\nEstablished experience working with external stakeholders to map requirements and coordinate deployments tasks\nProven ability to collaborate with development teams to identify and implement integrated solutions\nExtensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes container orchestration (EKS preferred)\nDemonstrated experience leading cloud migration projects from on-premises hardware to AWS infrastructure\nSubject matter expert in infrastructure automation languages including Ansible and Terraform\nProficiency with scripting languages including Python and Bash, and extensive Linux system administration experience\nDemonstrated experience deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and ArgoCD\nProven ability taking COTS and GOTS applications and deploying them at scale for large enterprise applications\nPrior experience delivering software, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps solutions that adhere to the client or IC data handling, compliance, and security requirements\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS\nExperience managing and securing networks enclaves in complex environments\nExperience deploying serverless solutions using AWS Lambda for automation and event-driven architectures\nExperience managing and scaling ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) clusters for logging and monitoring\nExperience with x.509 certificate management, PKI
