Ensures compliant, on-schedule delivery through effective resolution of technical quality issues and adherence to safety and contractual requirements. Supports program management with supplier, subcontractor, and customer quality matters. Implements program quality plans and procedures and actively identifies, communicates, and mitigates program risks.Impact of the Role\nGeneral Profile\nRequires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities\nContinues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers\nPerforms a range of assignments related to job discipline\nUses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations\nReceives a moderate level of guidance and direction\nConsistent exercise of discretion & judgment\nEssential Functions\nLead the implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes throughout the production lifecycle to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment.\nLeads program team members to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view.\nIdentifies Quality Assurance activities to mitigate risk.\nCollaborate with the program team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities.\nValidates effective internal controls system is in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements.\nPerforms audits on program delivery and ensures the use of Quality data analytics to identify risks and nonconformances and ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.\nRequired Qualifications\nRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience\n Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nPreferred Qualifications\nPreferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other Engineering-related degree.\nRelevant Program Quality Engineering experience within Manufacturing, Military, Aerospace/Aviation, Medical industry.\n Knowledge, skills & abilities: Program Quality. Issue Resolution. KPI Management. Performance Analysis. Quality Audit. Quality Improvement. Regulatory Compliance. ISO9001:2015 Lead auditor or AS9100D Lead Auditor.\nCertified Quality Engineer, SharePoint, TipQA, Soft Expert, Minitab.\n\nAbility to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.\n\nSix Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP).\n\nStrong Mechanical Background.\n\nWillingness and ability to travel up to 25-50% of time, including possible international travel.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time\nRequires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities\nWork primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.\nTravel Requirements\n25-50% travel likely._____________________________\nThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
