Monitors supplier performance and supports efforts to develop and implement changes to improve the production process. Follows up with suppliers on quality deviations and ensures that solutions are identified and implemented. Identify and mitigate supplier risks.Impact of the Role\nGeneral Profile\nRequires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines\nSolves complex problems\nWorks independently, receives minimal guidance\nMay lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives\nActs as a resource for colleagues with less experience\nConsistent exercise of discretion & judgment\nEssential Functions\nFocuses on planning, organizing, and reporting on supplier provided raw materials, designed/manufactured goods, and packaging materials to ensure they meet or exceed requirements.\nVerifies and validates that suppliers have received and understand engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements.\nMonitors & audits quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities.\nEnsures programs are in place to improve supplier performance and productivity.\nReviews and analyzes corrective action reports to reduce/eliminate defects.\nMay perform root cause investigations into quality issues.\nRequired Qualifications\nRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience\n Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nPreferred Qualifications\n Preferred education and experience: Bachelor’s Degree - Discipline/Major: Quality, Manufacturing or related Engineering discipline.\nExperience in DoD/DoW product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery.\nGeneral knowledge of industry technical standards (ANSI, SMMI, ASTM, etc.)\nExperience reviewing Statement of Work (SOW), Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR), knowledge of Purchase Order Quality Requirements.\nWorking knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality management systems and FAI Standard AS9102\nWorking experience leading teams in failure and root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions\nInterpreting schematic drawings and hardware inspection techniques.\n Knowledge, skills & abilities: Technical expertise.
