If who we are and what we do resonates with you, we invite you to join our high-performance team!Job Summary\nProvides technical support to the quality and quality engineering (QE) functions | Conducts quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards | Captures and analyzes statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards | Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standardsImpact of the Role\nGeneral Profile\nWorking supervisor of a team (spends a portion of time performing the work supervised) or supervises the daily activities of production team members\nMust have one or more of any direct report type\nAnalyses information to solve on-going problems and implements procedures and approaches to complete work \nResponsible for results of the team\nProvides direction to team using extensive knowledge of established precedents and practices\nConsistent exercise of discretion & judgment\nEssential Functions\n Oversees and monitors the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards. \n Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment and mechanisms to be used in the testing process. \n Recommends changes in specifications of materials, parts, and products based on inspection results. \n May formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures.\n Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.\nRequired Qualifications\nRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience\n Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nPreferred Qualifications\nPreferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree\n Knowledge, skills & abilities: Leadership Skills.
