development of electric rotating machines (motors and generators)\n\nExcellent communication, both verbal and written\nPrincipal Project Engineer\nYou will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our location.\nBe part of the Electric Power Generation Project Engineering team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Power Systems.\nThis position will be a key focal within the Project Engineering team, working directly with Project Leadership, the Customer, and a cross-functional team.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSupport and lead systems and test engineering efforts including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts\nDevelop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track project milestones, and ensure adherence to strict technical requirements\nMonitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals\nPrepare and present monthly budget and schedule updates, including Control Account Management (CAM) activities\nCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria\nAct as the primary liaison between team leadership and customers, providing regular updates on program status and addressing any concerns\nYOU MUST HAVE\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.\n\nMinimum of 12 years of experience in Project, Systems, or Test engineering\n WE VALUE\nHands-on background in New Product Development (NPD), R&D, or aerospace testing\nTechnical knowledge in Gas Turbine Engines (APU or Propulsion)\nProficiency in project management tools and methodologies\nProgram/control account management skills\nExperience in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects\nProven ability to work with minimal direction in a cross-functional team environment\nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders\nProficiency in solving technical problems through analytical thinking and innovation\nFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple projects
