This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can make sound decisions to keep operations running smoothly.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nAbility to work 2nd shift schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 10-hour days, starting at approximately 4:30 PM Central.\nLead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, and production targets\nSupervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20 hourly employees across machining, assembly, and lab operations\nFoster a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement\nMonitor production flow and operational performance to ensure reliability and consistency on the line\nPartner with production planning to execute schedules and meet customer and business commitments\nEnsure compliance with quality standards and drive corrective actions when needed\nTrain employees on required skills, processes, and standard work to support operational excellence\nIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance\nTroubleshoot production issues and work cross-functionally with maintenance and support teams to minimize downtime\nCommunicate production results, gaps, and recovery plans to leadership and stakeholders\nMake timely, independent decisions to maintain momentum and support shift performance\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with minimum of 1 years of professional experience OR associate’s degree with minimum of 3 years of professional experience OR a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience\nDesired Qualifications\nPeople leadership experience in a manufacturing environment\nAbility to make independent decisions in a fast-paced operating environment\nExperience working in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for daily operations\nDemonstrated ability to lead teams, drive execution, and solve problems in a production setting\nStrong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills\nExperience leading teams in machining, assembly, or other industrial production operations\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods\nFamiliarity with safety regulations and quality standards in aerospace or other highly regulated industries\nAbility to analyze production data and use insights to improve operational efficiency\nProven ability to motivate teams, develop talent, and build a strong performance culture\nThe base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
