Our flexible working model is based on the concept of work-life balance, because at GE Aerospace we believe that people come first in our organization.\nJob Description\nResponsibilities:\nLead the design process and analysis of composite components, ensuring meeting program requirements.\nUtilize your expertise to identify and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring robust and innovative solutions that support short- and long-term business objectives.\nDevelop and implement advanced analytical techniques and simulation tools for composite components. \nOversee material selection and characterization for composite applications, working closely with materials science teams.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to ensure seamless product development.\nImplement design processes, standards, and best practices for composite component development.\nConduct and review design reviews. \nStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and research in composite materials and manufacturing.\nPrepare and present technical reports, specifications, and design documentation. Qualifications:\nBachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.\nExperience in the design and analysis of composite components, preferably within the aerospace industry.\nProven expertise in composite material properties, manufacturing processes and failure mechanisms.\nProficiency in engineering tools for design and analysis of composite structures products.\nDemonstrated leadership experience, including technical leadership of projects or small teams.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.\nKnowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations related to composite structures is
