And, most importantly, you’ll share in our pride and purpose that affects the lives of millions around the world.\nGE Aerospace Terre Haute\nThe Terre Haute site is comprised of two facilities - component manufacturing and assembly - of complex combustors & structures engineered for commercial and military aircraft engines.\nA few reasons to consider us:\nQuarterly performance based bonus up to $1300 every quarter (4x/year)\n10% pay differential for 2nd/3rd shift\nHealthcare Benefits eligible on day one of employment \nMonthly employee engagement events\n12 annual paid holidays; vacation eligible at day 30 of employment\nClimate-controlled building out of the elements\nTuition reimbursement benefit\nEssential Responsibilities\nAssembly of details on parts utilizing various tools\n\nWork from complex product drawings, manuals, and specifications\n\nAdherence to Operator Acceptance Procedures (OAP)\n\nInspect finished product and identify defects\n\nSet-up, operate, adjust and troubleshoot all tools and equipment used in the assembly process\n\nUtilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect parts\n\nMaintains accurate work records\n\nWillingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required\n\nMaintains standards for 6S and tool control\n\nRecognizes process variation, adjusts accordingly while maintaining compliant work practices, and consistently produces conforming hardware\n\nMaintains productivity standards\n\nWillingness to work outside normal work hours to support assembly requirements\n\nQualifications/Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\nThe qualified associate who assumes these responsibilities will be expected to:\n\nUnderstand how to identify and effectively use a variety of power and hand tools\n\nRead, understand and utilize procedures, detailed computerized build plans, and basic mathematical calculations\n\nAbility to perform precise and detailed work\n\nCommunicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal within the team\n\nFollow and promote safe work practices\n\nThis role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek.
