Assignments will be in the following areas:\nDevelop 2 and 3-axis N/C processes for development hardware (i.e., machining programs, tooling,) as well as 4 and 5 axis N/C processes\n\nDevelop CMM programs for inspection of development hardware\n\nContribute to process improvement efforts on mature hardware with similar support\n\nSet up and operation of machine tool equipment (both N/C and standard-types to support development/production cell activities)\n\nWork to blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce development hardware\n\nPerform in-process dimensional checks, including CMM operations/set up\n\nTroubleshoot process issues\n\nCreate development/production planning and support revisions of production planning as appropriate for process changes\n\nPerform other related duties as required\n\n Qualifications/Requirements\nMust have a minimum of 3.0 GPA (without rounding)\n\nMust be a full-time matriculated student in a Bachelor of Science program for an Engineering degree\n\nCompleted two full years of college (rising junior)\n\nWilling and available to work at GE Aerospace in Lynn, MA\n\nEligibility Requirements\nAny offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
