This is done from our new state of the art facility in Gloucestershire, UK.\nIn this role you will be part of the NPI team, supporting the growing demand for new propeller manufacturing systems and contributing to the development of the next generation of electrified, sustainable aviation. You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, helping to ensure design intent is effectively translated through the production system and that manufacturing requirements are considered throughout the product development cycle.\nWith a strong focus on manufacturability, the role supports the development of manufacturing processes, facilities, and capabilities, while also contributing to the adoption of new technologies and automation to improve repeatability, reliability, and overall production readiness.\nRole Purpose\nTo support the planning and definition of complex manufacturing engineering projects by translating business, engineering, and operational requirements into clear plans, layouts, specifications, scopes of work, and delivery packages. The role will coordinate process, facility, equipment, infrastructure, and manufacturing capability requirements to ensure they are captured, structured, and aligned with project milestones, governance, applicable standards, and the successful introduction of new propeller manufacturing systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nTranslate stakeholder needs and developing engineering inputs into structured plans, layouts, specifications, and requirement packages.\nWork with process engineering and other stakeholders to convert emerging or incomplete information into practical project deliverables.\nSupport the development of scopes of work, requirement packs, and planning information for internal teams, suppliers, and integrators.\nCoordinate layout, facility, equipment, and utility requirements to support joined-up planning and design development.\nMaintain clear documentation, assumptions, interfaces, and revisions to support traceability and control.\nTrack key dependencies, risks, and changes, and provide clear updates on actions and delivery impacts.\nSupport cross-functional alignment across engineering, facilities, quality, HSE, IT/OT, sourcing, and external partners.\nRequired Skills and Experience\nExperience in manufacturing engineering, process planning, industrialisation, design coordination, or facility/production planning.\nStrong ability to translate evolving or incomplete requirements into clear, structured outputs.\nExperience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and disciplines in a complex project environment.\nUnderstanding of how process and manufacturing needs drive facility, equipment, and infrastructure requirements.\nExperience preparing scopes of work, requirement packs, layouts, or similar planning documentation.\nStrong organisational, documentation, and communication skills.\nPersonal Attributes\nStructured and detail-oriented, with the ability to bring clarity to evolving requirements.\nPractical and delivery-focused, able to balance technical needs with project constraints.\nProactive, collaborative, and confident working in ambiguity.\nStrong communicator who can align stakeholders and identify issues early.\nFlexible Working\nGE supports and encourages flexible working arrangements, where possible, and recognises the benefits to employees of having a positive work-life balance.\nTotal Reward\nAt GE Aviation we understand the importance of Total Reward.
