These include Avionics Computing Systems, Mission Systems, Navigation and Guidance and Vehicle Health and Data Management products.As an Electrical Analyzer & Tester you will use your thorough understanding of analog, digital and microprocessor circuits to fault isolate (component/board level) electronic avionics products. Once the fault has been isolated you will prescribe rework instructions for repairs to be completed.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nThe Electronic Analyzer & Tester's primary duty is to ensure that military and commercial avionics products perform their specifications in a satisfactory manner. Responsibilities include administering standardized functional and environmental tests and troubleshooting from a system level down to component level.\nEssential Responsibilities:\nUnderstand and follow test specifications and procedures.\n\nEnsure product compliance and quality.\n\nTroubleshoot electronics systems, circuit card assemblies, and components.\n\nPrescribe rework instructions for products needing repair.\n\nMaintain product test records in quality data tracking system.\n\nAttend and participate in team meeting.\n\nQualifications/Requirements:\nAssociate degree in an electronics technology discipline from an accredited university or college OR High School Diploma / GED with two years of technical experience in testing and troubleshooting of highly technical electronic products which could include military electronics experience (i.e. A school, I level depo technician).\n\nThis position requires U.S. citizenship status.\n\nAvailable to work 3pm-1130pm (some flexibility)\n\nThis role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.\n\nEligibility Requirement:\nAble and willing to complete and pass the pre-employment electronic principle's test, covering but not limited to such subjects as component identification and digital and analog circuit analysis, Ohm’s Law and Watt’s Law, Schematic symbols, AC / DC Circuits, Digital Logic and Circuits, OP Amps etc.\n\nDesired Characteristics:\nPossess a thorough understanding of analog and digital circuits.\n\nExperienced with general purpose test instruments (digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, phase angle voltmeters and automated test equipment).\n\nAble to fault isolate electronics to the component level.\n\nExperienced in functional testing and environmental stress screening of class 3 electronics systems.\n\nAble to follow technical procedures and specifications.\n\nAble to read and understand technical documentation such as schematic diagrams and parts lists.\n\nExperience using hand tools for electronics disassembly and troubleshooting.\n\nKnowledge of IPC 610 & J-STD soldering specifications.\n\nBasic understanding of embedded software.\n\nFamiliar with Electric Static Discharge precautions.\n\nAbility to work under minimum supervision by being motivated and a self-starter.\n\nKeen attention to detail.\n\nProficient with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and PDF Viewers.\n\nThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
