The PDE will also be responsible for documenting designs utilizing the latest drafting standards.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nOverall ownership and accountability of product definition for assigned projects from launch through production.\nPerform detailed tolerance stack-up analysis.\nDevelop complete drawing packages and lead drawing reviews.\nPrepare presentations and present at reviews.\nHave a thorough understanding of Engineering Drawing Practices ASME Y14.100\nHave a thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) ASME Y14.5-2009.\nInterpret and clarify customer technical expectations.\nDevelop low-cost solutions and meet unit cost targets.\nDefine and maintain technical compliance to customer requirements.\nDevelop design concepts for technical proposals.\nDeveloping fixtures and tooling.\nLegacy product improvements and manufacturing support.\nInternal research & development.\nResolution of field issues.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of Design and/or Engineering experience.\nDesired Characteristics\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (or High School Diploma/GED with at least 7 years of Design and/or Engineering experience).\nStrong oral and written communication skills.
