This role requires a clear understanding of customer requirements, manufacturing processes, and inspection methods in order to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high quality standards.Job Description\nEssential Responsibilities:\nServe as the focal point for all quality-related topics, supporting the program on quality issues and providing prompt, proactive feedback to customer requests\nManage product and process substantiation activities, including Process and Product Validation and First Article Inspection (FAI)\nSupport Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including preliminary reviews, disposition of non-conforming material, and development of remediation actions\nLead non-conformance investigations and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis in collaboration with cross-functional teams\nEnsure that manufacturing processes meet design requirements and perform weekly shop audits to verify compliance with quality standards\nSupport the implementation of improvement plans and conduct Process Capability Analysis\nAnalyze quality KPIs and data, including First Time Yield (FTY), Defects per Unit (DPU), losses, and escapes, to identify improvement opportunities and lead change initiatives delivering measurable results\nPromote compliance with Avio Aero, customer, and regulatory requirements\nParticipate in investigations of non-compliance and non-conformance reported by customers and partners, ensuring the timely implementation of corrective actions\nDemonstrate a proactive approach in daily interactions with supervisors and shop operators\nSupport internal and external customer and regulatory audits, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of corrective actions\nPrepare detailed reports and present them during daily meetings with all relevant stakeholders\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant experience in Quality or Manufacturing within structured aerospace or aeronautical companies\nSolid knowledge of manufacturing processes such as turning, milling, and drilling\nStrong ability to understand technical documentation and drawing requirements\nProblem-solving skills and familiarity with key quality tools such as APPS, 5 Whys, RCCA, and similar methodologies\nProven ability to proactively engage with customers and internal cross-functional teams\nFluency in both Italian and English\nProficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nStrong interpersonal skills\nWork Visa, according to local regulation, is required\nDesired Qualifications:\nPrevious experience as a production supervisor in a shop environment\nAbility to work under tight deadlines and effectively manage competing priorities\nDPRV Certification\nWhy Join Us:\nAt Avio Aero, people power our progress.
