Our relationships with Indian suppliers, combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach, continue to shape India’s aerospace ecosystem\nJob Description\nRoles & Responsibilities:\nResponsible to carry out MRB transactions and daily operations and responsible to carry out inspections per internal QMS procedural requirements.\nWork closely with manufacturing / production & Quality system teams to develop and implement AS 9100 procedures & systems & support driving end to end production quality flow downs. \nAlso responsible for MRB aging and inventory reductions.\nWillingness to work & get qualified to Cross functional quality cells along with working with HPT teams for daily analysis of yield improvement , EHS & process improvisation projects.\nContribute to continual improvement through audit programs, assessment / of various non-conformances and driving corrective actions identified through Root Cause Analysis.\nUnderstanding of site quality QMS procedures & policies.\nUnderstanding of process & yield improvement tools like RCA , KAIZENS , 7 QC tools etc.\nInspecting production hardware , attending to customer complaint analysis & stock verifications where required.\nProviding training, and support to shop operations, design and manufacturing to assure effective Quality Assurance\nMaintaining awareness of the latest inspection techniques & processes and their beneficial and limiting aspects for optimum application\nPursuing continuous improvement for quality & cost reductions projects.\nActively contributing to non conformance event management & analysis.\nThe Ideal Candidate:\nCandidates with Min 1 years of experience in MRB and quality, Experience in MRB transactions and handle data base.\nQualifications/Requirements:\nMin 1 years of Experience in MRB and Quality.\nDiploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering\nAbility to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide solutions\nAbility to handle diverse activities simultaneously and Ability to work in a matrix organization.\nWorking knowledge of Aerospace Prime requirements.\nStrong hands on experience in performing MRB operations or Quality operations , process control checks & working per GE-Aerospace specific customer P specs, third party and other international regulatory norms , visual inspection of finished & purchased product norms.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills with good oral and written communication skills\nKnowledge of AS 9100 , AMS , S1000 / S1002 standards.\nKnowledge of Aviation / Aerospace Quality standards , ASTM Standards.\nKnowledge of Basic Lean and Six Sigma Methodology\nWhether we are manufacturing components for our engines, driving innovation in fuel and noise reduction, or unlocking new opportunities to grow and deliver more productivity, our GE Aerospace teams are dedicated and making a global impact.
