Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.\nRole Overview\nIn this role, you will report to GEnx/GE90/GP F&B Design Sub-Section Manager, GE Aerospace Bangalore Engineering Center. In addition, you will interface with organizations such as the Engineering, MRO, supply chain, CEO and services organization. As an Advanced Lead Engineer, your responsibility broadly includes:\nLead and execute the design, analysis, test or integration of F&B Module rotor hardware using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements\nBe the first point of contact from ID&B Design on any query from sourcing/supplier/fleet/repair/customer\nExecute & participate on teams assigned to address specific organizational initiatives\nAssure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures\nCollaborate and Communicate with all stakeholders on project status, business issues and significant developments as appropriate\nDemonstrate in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute programs and mentor other team members\nDemonstrate clear thinking, strong technical articulation, manage handoffs between different organizations\nFormulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules, and customer commitments.\nDemonstrate collaborative work style and team-oriented behavior with a proactive example of communication internally and externally\nResponsible to support shops for Departure record resolution and shop visit cost reduction\nShould network & establish strong connections with Commodity CTHs, Cross functions teams viz. Shop, SC, Repair, MAE, CTPs and Shop technical teams to achieve the desired outcomes for module\nLeverage digital tools & analyze the data insights to drive appropriate actions on ESM limit extensions, special procedures, etc.\nAdopt Lean in day-to-day work for process improvements\nRequired Qualification:\nBachelors/ Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in Aviation Engines or Turbo machinery Engineering position (design, analysis, systems, services)\nStrong Design creativity and problem-solving capabilities\nStrong project management skills including cross-functional coordination of activities\nAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization both internally and externally\nAbility and willingness to travel as required\nDesired Qualification:\nFamiliarity with Fan & Booser module\nBackground on rotating parts analysis, design & manufacturing experience\nPrevious experience in component hardware ownership role\nAbility to effectively manage multiple project responsibilities\nAbility to effectively interact with the customer\nStrong oral and written communication skills\nExcellent interpersonal and leadership skills\nAt GE Aerospace, we have a relentless dedication to the future of safe and more sustainable flight and believe in our talented people to make it happen.
