Roles And Responsibilities
Quality Engineer in additive manufacturing realizing quality assurance of products, manufacturing, and inspection processes.
Establish inspection and control plans for conformance of additive hardware, using statistics to analyze capability
Leverage FLIGHT DECK to lead problem solving and process improvement initiatives.
Participate in strategic initiatives for new technologies related to additive manufacturing processes
Ownership of Material Review Board (MRB) tickets
Engage in site audit initiatives; perform work station audits and support regulatory and special process audits.
In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
Communicate and participate in team, site, IPT, and business initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering and/or Quality)
At least 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering and/or Quality

Ability to read drawings/blueprints
Proficiency in MSA, PFMEA, FAI, and Process capability analysis desired
Experience in inspection methods
