The TDI site in Dayton, OH is a part of Unison, a GE Aerospace Company. Unison is uniquely positioned to introduce the next-gen Air Turbine Starter for the CMF56-7B fleet. At the TDI site, Unison also produces Surface Coolers and Bellows to support the aerospace industry.\nRole Overview:\nProvides general material support throughout the site\nGeneral housekeeping in area (5S)\nPrepares domestic dock shipments to include crating, boxing, labeling and examining for specifications\nChecks pack list and verifies accuracy\nPrepares and set up boxes for shipping\nBoxes and crates shipments for outside services\nPrepares OV shipments\nConsolidates shipping\nPull Parts by FIFO\nShips domestic shipments based on customer requirements\nUses Fed-Ex/UPS/DHL process for domestic shipments\nBanding and shrink wrapping\nPrepares specific customer labels\nOperates a fork lift with proper training\nUnloads trucks\nReceives materials using set process by utilizing proper tracking and moving materials accordingly\nRestocks materials\nReplenishes point of use materials\nUses measuring devices including scales\nReview, understand and follow work instructions and procedures\nEnsures all company paperwork is filled-out accurately\nMeet team goals\nCross train\nWork with other areas in the shop to support the movement and storage of materials\nWork to established Lean Manufacturing guidelines\nWork under general direction with minimal coaching in a team environment\nWill also perform other duties as assigned\nTransport material to and from OV suppliers in company van\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)\n6 months of related experience and/or training\nForklift certification\nValid driver license is required to operate a forklift and company van\nThis role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek.
