GE Aerospace offers a strong team environment, professional development, and comprehensive benefits to support your health, wellbeing, and long-term career growth.\nSign-On Bonus - $10,000 after 90 days of successful employment\nEssential Responsibilities:\nPerform digital radiography and computed tomography inspections of aircraft engine turbine airfoils in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEvaluate images and interpret test findings in accordance with manufacturing blueprints, process specifications, and work instructions.\nAccurately document test findings and archive historical records.\nEffectively communicate information and perform duties in a teaming environment.\nPerform daily equipment set-up procedures and quality checks.\nPerform radiation safety surveys and successfully complete annual radiation safety training.\nQualifications/Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nCurrent level 2 certification in radiography meeting National Aerospace Standard (NAS) 410. Previous radiography training and experience must include a minimum of 80 hours formal classroom education and 800 hours radiography experience.\nSuccessfully pass written general, specific, and practical examinations.\nDesired Characteristics:\nCurrent certification in digital radiography \nPrevious experience performing digital radiographic inspection of cast turbine airfoils.\nAt least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrate the ability to apply geometric, trigonometric, and algebraic relationships.\nPossess the skills and knowledge to set up and calibrate equipment, conduct tests, interpret, evaluate, and document findings without supervision.\nThorough knowledge of the scope and limitations of radiographic imaging techniques.\n2nd Shift Weekday Night shift: Monday-Thursday 9:00pm-7:12am\n4th Shift Weekend Day shift: Friday-Sunday 7:00am-7:12pm\n5th Shift Weekend Night shift: Friday-Sunday 7:00pm-7:12am\nThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
