If you want a hands-on opportunity to advance flight for future generations, this is the team for you.Job Description\nResponsibilities\nThe Machinist will set up and operate production machine equipment to include multi-axis CNC/NC machines\n\nMachine all types of metals\n\nGenerate and check part dimensions during various machining stages with complex measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, special purpose gauges, and scales\n\nAchieve all required tolerances and finishes that will produce quality parts in a timely manner and for meeting standards as set forth by Manufacturing Engineering and Quality\n\nContinuous visual concentration with or without reasonable accommodation may be necessary to develop and maintain tolerance\n\nEnsure all characteristics generated at designated operation are conforming through use of applicable inspection techniques\n\nPerform setup and operation of equipment to drawings, method sheets, etc., but may be required to supplement this information with own job knowledge on occasion\n\nDo preventive maintenance\n\nMay be required on a temporary basis, to train operators to use certain equipment which the individual is qualified to\n\nResponsible for keeping facilities, material and work area orderly exercising care in their use, maintaining good housekeeping practices\n\nMust adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements and all quality\n\nMust actively participate in a team based environment which includes, but not limited to the following: Active participation in daily team meetings and activities, cooperating and relating well with others, practicing direct professional communication with team members, and being open to new ideas from team members and considers opinions different from their own\n\nUse all tools, jigs, fixtures, and gages necessary to perform operations\n\nUtilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures\n\nRequired Qualifications\nTechnical secondary schools or above degree, majored in machinery/electric. Proven experience in manufacturing industry. Acquired knowledge of mechanical or electrical professional.\n\nAbility to understand the engineering drawings and documents.\n\nAcquired knowledge of cutting tools and quality. Ability to use standard measuring tools.\n\nStrong communication skills with NC programmers, Process engineers, Tooling engineer. Be familiar with CNC Machining Center/Heavy Machine first.\n\nProven experience as tool administrator in mechanical machining\n\nBe familiar with tool type, assembly and metal cutting\n\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with Zoller tool-measuring device.
