As part of our Clearwater team, you will support advanced avionics systems used on commercial and military aircraft, including the Boeing 737/787 and platforms such as the F-18, F-35, Harrier, and Apache.\nYou’ll work in a climate-controlled, OSHA VPP Star-certified facility alongside skilled technicians, manufacturing engineers, and test engineers to keep production and repair operations running safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality standards.\nThis is a technician career path role, offering long-term growth opportunities within operations, technical leadership, and training.\nEssential Responsibilities\nAs a Senior Electronics / Avionics Technician, you will:\nPerform hands-on setup, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of complex electronic and electro-mechanical equipment.\n\nExecute testing using established procedures, schematics, and technical documentation, including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Component Maintenance Manuals.\n\nConduct functional, vibration, and thermal cycle testing (based on assignment).\n\nTroubleshoot equipment at the component and system level using schematics and diagnostic tools.\n\nTest, calibrate, adjust, and maintain measuring and indicating instruments to defined standards.\n\nMonitor process performance and product quality, responding quickly to production or repair issues.\n\nAdjust approved process parameters (within engineering guidelines) to maintain quality and prevent downtime.\n\nPartner with Manufacturing and Test Engineers to communicate observed issues, trends, and “watch items.”\n\nTrain and support junior technicians as assigned.\n\nFollow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in a high-reliability aerospace environment.\n\nNote: This role is focused on execution and technical support. It does not include product design, software development, or engineering ownership.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\n2-year technical degree/certificate in Electronics, Avionics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or similar OR 2+ years of equivalent hands-on industry experience\n\nAbility to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical procedures\n\nComfortable working with electronic test equipment and physical hardware\n\nAbility to lift/move up to 35 pounds\n\nWillingness to work overtime or shift schedules as required\n\nThis role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.\n\nDesired Skills & Experience\n6+ years of hands-on experience as an electronics, avionics, or electro-mechanical technician\n\nExperience supporting production, manufacturing, MRO, or repair environments\n\nFamiliarity with aerospace, defense, or regulated industries (preferred)\n\nComfortable using a PC to access documentation, drawings, and instructions\n\nStrong team skills and willingness to mentor less-experienced technicians\n\nThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
