You will select suppliers through qualification processes, own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards, own supplier audits, ensure compliance, and drive improvement plans where needed. You should have in-depth knowledge of quality management best practices and have working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.Job Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nManage supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence\nDrive root cause and corrective action plans across suppliers\nIdentify process improvements needed to drive better first time yield resulting in improved delivery\nCollaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineers on design for manufacturability improving producibility\nIdentifying gaps in quality system driving corrective actions needed to closure\nBalance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects\nPresent product / program strategies, roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior leaders\nActs as a resource for colleagues with less experience\nUtilize technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations\n\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or institution\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality or Supply Chain Manufacturing\n\nDesired Characteristics\nStrong background in supplier quality and supplier management\nSub-commodity leadership experience\nExperience in airfoils or structural castings\nExperience managing quality or manufacturing teams\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills\nDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems\nEstablished project management skills\n\nPay and Benefits:\nThe salary range for this position is $ 116,000.00 - 154,000.00 USD. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
