In addition to working in a facility awarded OSHAS’s highest safety rating, you will be part of a diverse team of 400+ employees, solving the global challenge of sustainable flight, earning merit-based rewards, working in a climate-controlled environment, and having opportunities for continuous learning and development.\n\nEssential Functions\nOperate and monitor SMT and electronics manufacturing equipment used in the production of circuit card assemblies (CCAs).\n\nMaintain and operate complex electronics assembly machinery using established procedures, schematics, and approved documentation.\n\nAdjust machine settings and parameters to support production requirements and ensure quality output.\n\nPerform machine set-up and material loading for electronic components and circuit boards.\n\nConduct routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on SMT equipment.\n\nPerform off-line material setup and feeder preparation as required.\n\nReview work instructions and technical documentation to ensure accurate component placement and manufacturing processes.\n\nSupport training of other operators on electronics manufacturing equipment.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.\n\nQualifications / Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\nAbility to read and follow technical work instructions and manufacturing documentation.\n\nAbility to lift or move materials up to 20 lbs.\n\nAbility to work overtime as required.\n\nAbility to work in an electronics manufacturing environment.\n\nThis role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.\n\nDesired Skills / Experience\nExperience operating SMT or electronics manufacturing equipment (pick-and-place, screen printers, reflow ovens, etc.).\n\nExperience working with printed circuit boards or circuit card assemblies.\n\n3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or similar production environments.\n\nFamiliarity with component handling, feeder setup, and electronic production processes.\n\nAdditional Information\nGE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
