Key responsibilities include -\nUnderstand business problems & processes and develop & implement data science models, including artificial intelligence and machine learning.\nWork alongside data scientists, data engineers, software developers, program managers, product owners, and functional stakeholders to translate algorithms into viable products and services.\nWork in technical teams in development, deployment, and application of artificial intelligence, machine learning, applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline.\nPerform exploratory and targeted data analysis using descriptive statistics and other methods (including collecting, preprocessing, and analyzing large datasets to be used for training and testing machine learning models)\nUnderstand various business & functional processes pertaining to Analytics Development Process\nWork with cross functional teams to develop & deploy data science models into production environments and monitor & maintain deployed models to ensure they perform as expected.\nDevelop domain expertise and develop and execute program plans and proactively solicit feedback from stakeholders to identify improvement actions.\nOptimize machine learning & artificial intelligence models for performance, scalability, and efficiency.\nBe aware of latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence.\nExplore and implement new machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques and tools to enhance the team's capabilities.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation of machine learning models, algorithms, and processes.\nGenerate reports, annotated code, and other projects artifacts to document, archive, and communicate the work and outcomes.\nShare and discuss findings with team members.\nThe Ideal Candidate:\nIdeal candidate should have experience in GEN AI, Python, SQL and cloud platforms\nRequired Qualifications & Experience:\nM.Tech / M.E. / M.S. or an equivalent Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Applied Statistics or a related STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with significant analytics development experience\nProficiency in Python (mandatory) & SQL and familiarity with Python web frameworks.\nDemonstrated skill and hands-on experience of implementing GenAI solutions (including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and leveraging pre-trained models).\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks etc.) and their AI/ML services.\nDemonstrated skill in data quality assessment, data cleaning, pre-processing, post-processing and using analytics for data assessment\nDemonstrated skill in the use of applied analytics, descriptive statistics, feature extraction and predictive analytics on industrial datasets\nDemonstrated skill in the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning and applied analytics (statistical & probabilistic) methods for solving business problems.\nDemonstrated skill in data visualization and storytelling for an audience of stakeholders.\nDemonstrated awareness of customer and stakeholder management and business metrics\nHas a basic understanding & awareness of GE Aerospace business and how the solutions they are developing create value.\nDesired Characteristics:\nDemonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving mindset and skills.\nDemonstrated awareness of how to operate in a cross functional team setting.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nDemonstrated awareness of presentation and influencing skills\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nUnderstanding of latest technology advancements in AI\nInfluences within working team & peer group.\nSoft Skills: Change Agent, Collaboration, Comfort in Ambiguity, Communication, Consulting, Curiosity/Creativity, Decision Making & Risk Management, Influence, Problem Solving\nDevelops, Implements & Owns component(s) of the roadmap.\nEvaluates, down selects, and has awareness of advanced models for deriving new features in relation to the source of data.\nCan use basic scripting tools to handle/read/retrieve/view different unstructured data types\nDetermines algorithms and pipelines needed to detect data errors and applies procedures for data quality assessment.\nPerforms missing data imputation/outlier removal/multicollinearity by using established GE techniques and domain knowledge.\nDevelops and improves models, performs trade-off analysis.
