Contributes to the development of project and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across multiple team.Job Description\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nIn this role, you will: \nLeads and coordinates the domain technical and business discussions relative to future design direction across multiple teams or complex product line. \nAnalyzes enterprise tools designs and develops a road map along with an implementation plan around PLM and MDM platforms. \nReviews and/or analyzes and develops design at domain level and across multiple teams. \nParticipates in the EA business-wide and domain governance model. \nLeads the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities to for multiple teams or complex scenarios. \nProvides leadership, technology guidance and mentors others throughout the domain. \nContribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams) that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses. \nProvide leadership, technology guidance and mentor others throughout the domain. \nAble to partner with business leaders to align projects with business goals and needs. \nAble to recommend allocation of budget to meet design initiatives critical to business/mission success and develop the business case for approval. \nMust be hands-on to be able to build POC's using emerging technologies and stabled hardened design patterns to be design enterprise class applications. \nAble to participate in enterprise strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development. \nExperience in working with enterprise platforms around ALM and PLM. \nExperience in working with Micro services, SOA, Big Data systems (Hadoop etc.), Enterprise Search tools (Elastic Search, Solr) Cloud Technologies, & DevOps. \nCollaborate with the business function to address data related problems in regards to systems integration and product structure. \nEnforces methods and validation mechanisms for ensuring data quality and accuracy at the Wauwatosa WI 53226-4856 point of entry. \nResponsible for vendor evaluation within PLM functional space, providing recommendations for selection, and on-going relationship management. \nDevelop peer, cross-functional and cross-GE Business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience\nMinimum 5 years of professional experience in Application Engineering\nNote: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience\nEligibility Requirement:\nLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.
